The colours didn't scan too well, and everything is kind of blurry :< Done at the store, took about five hours straight of work Pencil sketch and then watercolour. Lots of watercolour :[ The edges are starting to curl even though I used pretty thick watercolour paper XD *bad habit of drowning her art* Apart from the darkest areas, like the border, most of the "black" and greys in this picture are not black, but blue and brown mixed in varying quantities. ^^ Ugh, now that I'm looking at it I see about a billion problems with anatomy, wings, everything ...
Yuri in his Tengaiou/Seraphic Radiance/Dark Seraphim (hooray for translating inconsistencies ) form ... not the one from any of the games, but rather a combination of the god in Shadow Hearts, and the fusions in both Shadow Hearts and Shadow Hearts: Covenant. I like how the SH Seraphic Radiance had wings coming out of its head Look! Strategically placed/poorly drawn wing! Heheheh XD
Hmmm? I didn't really soak the paper before I painted. I did apply a base of pale yellow though ^^ (Not that you can really see it in the image anymore XD) I wouldn't really (INTENTIONALLY XD) soak the paper unless I wanted the colours to bleed, and even then I'd just apply a light layer of water. It's useful for doing water or clouds. :] I'm no expert in the medium by far though XD; I always keep a kleenex beside me to clean up my mistakes

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
