After my Ruc head pic, I wanted to try some more cel-style colouring. ^^; Here's Claude and Dias from Star Ocean 2 :3 One of the few pics I sketched out beforehand. I have no scanner right now, so I had to redraw it on the computer ^^;

I definitely have a love-hate relationship with this picture. It took me eight days to finish in total, with me starting the colouring from scratch three separate times. I was going to try to make a process/tutorial sort of thing and started out taking lots of screenshots, but totally gave up at the third colouring attempt. Final file size: 1199x1959 300 DPI at 10.7MB XD My computer hates me; the programs kept freezing up and doing weird stuff on me ^^; ;

Dias is hopping XD Claude's shoes were really hard for me to draw and I wanted to stab something when I tried to colour Dias' hair XD; There are lots of problems with this picture (namely: proportions, perspective/foreshortening, and shadows), but overall ... I'm done. I don't want to work on this anymore XD;;;;

The title comes, of course, from the name of the main battle theme from Star Ocean 2: "Stab the Sword of Justice". Love that song. ^^

Looks like Dias is about to go Firebird. XD And his hair looks great. :P Claude somehow looks awkward and geeky... or maybe it's just Dias' presence causing it. *runs away* No, really, wonderful work. *tugs on Claude's pants* I want. Er, but I dun wanna see what's under them, so pulling isn't wise. O_O

As they say Maiji, practice makes perfect. *nods* I like it.

again, great job on the coloring and the foreshortening. i can see where you're feeling all bleh about this picture though. the eyes don't seem to be angled right.

I :heart: your artwork, you know that! :D The cel shading is superb - I particularly like the sword shadow on Claude's leg, and the background is fantastic! :worship:
